Rachel Mintel

Rachel is involved in the management and support of two programs run by KickStart Venture Services: the Venture Catalyst Program and the National Science Foundation’s I-Corps Program. Rachel has extensive experience working with graduate and undergraduate trainees at UNC Chapel Hill, having previously served as the Student Services Manager at the department of Psychology and Neuroscience. She has also supported the UNC School of Government, working closely with faculty to organize continuing education programs for local government clients. Here she played a vital role in the transition of creating completely virtual programming due to COVID-19, working with faculty and the IT department to convert courses to online programs.

Rachel previously worked as the Marketing and Office Coordinator for Surface 678, a local landscape architecture firm. Rachel graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from North Carolina State University in 2016.
