GSK is sponsoring a basic and clinical HIV research partnership with UNC-Chapel Hill over five years with a $20 million contribution to establish a dedicated HIV center.


Eastman

UNC-Chapel Hill and Eastman Chemical Company entered into a collaborative chemistry and material sciences research agreement, providing a minimum of $1.5 million in support over the course of six years

IRODS Consortium

The iRODS Consortium is operated at UNC by the Renaissance Computing Institute (RENCI) and is responsible for promoting the adoption of iRODS, an open source data management platform.

Office of Sponsored Programs is responsible for reviewing and executing sponsored research agreements with private industry, including Sponsored Research Agreements, Clinical Trial Agreements and Subcontracts, among others. OIC also negotiates and executes all (industry, federal or other party) Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs and NDAs) and Data Use Agreements for the entire UNC-Chapel Hill campus.
