Peter Liao, MBA

Peter Liao joined the office in 2008. Peter has broad experience in evaluation of new technologies to determine commercial potential and patentability, assembling and analyzing market research, identification of and marketing to potential licensees, creation of valuation estimates and negotiation points, reviewing and evaluating draft licenses, leading licensing efforts, negotiating agreements, and providing commercialization training. Previously, he spent a decade at the Center for Technology Applications at RTI International in Research Triangle Park. There he served as a Technology Commercialization Manager. Peter earned his BE in Mechanical Engineering from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC-Chapel Hill.
